Rovinj hides many impressive treasures deep down on the seabed and we want to offer you the opportunity to explore and marvel at one of many wrecks. In various situations throughout history, passenger boats, warships or cargoes have sunk into the depths of the sea around Rovinj and today represent a breathtaking, aquatic sight that we can only recommend to you to see. Many of our destinations are closed to divers by the Croatian government, and we are one of the few dive centres to have permission to dive to those cultural monuments, making your adventure all the more unique. Come on board and enjoy an experience you will never forget!
Dive AreaDepending on the number of participants and weather conditions, we decide on the spot which destination on that day is best suited for our tour and our divers. This way we ensure our high safety standards as well as the fun factor. You can choose between the
Baron Gautsch Wreck, the
Hans Schmidt Wreck,
Wreck Varese,
J.Gilmore and
Romagna Wreck. Some wrecks have very beautiful vegetation of impressive underwater plants, and often our divers get the chance to admire a whole swarm of fish that have nested inside the wreck.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:We meet half an hour before the departure at our base. Parking is available outside the camping site, at 8 minute walking distance from the base. We will welcome you and introduce our team. Afterwards, you will receive a detailed safety briefing so that you are prepared for everything. If necessary, you will have the opportunity to borrow equipment, which you can purchase on site for an extra charge. Afterwards, we go to our speedboat. Our boat is 12 meters long, has its own sun protected area and a capacity of up to 15 people. At the boat, you will get a briefing for what is to come and then you will go into the cool water.
- Diving:Look forward to the most beautiful wrecks of the Adriatic, which you will find at an approximate depth between 30 and 40 meters. Our wrecks offer an interesting photo scenery: lost fishing nets, torpedo ammunition, guns on board, lobsters hidden in freighter chimneys - these impressive underwater worlds found by the wrecks, offer true underwater treasures for diving lovers.
- Return:After our dive we will take our boat back to our base, where you can change your clothes and rest.
