The lesson consists of a quick introduction, a 15-minute warm-up, and 1.5 hours of practice in the water with your instructor. Experienced surfers also benefit from a video analysis.

Can I practise on my own after the lesson?

Picture this: a magnificent setting on the Atlantic coast, a surf school based directly on the beach, more than welcoming instructors who spread a homely atmosphere and you're there, surfboard under your arm, ready to face the waves. That's one nice mental picture, right? Then pack your things and come to Anglet, because we can make that vision come true! Whether you're a total beginner or an experienced surfer, our instructors will make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive at our base, assess your level and help you improve your skills.

Meeting & Preparation We will meet you directly at our base, a nice little mobile home. It's located right on the beach and is equipped with everything you might need (shower, fridge, microwave, relaxing seating area with a hammock, tables and chairs). You can also leave your belongings at our base. If you arrive by car, free parking is available nearby. We have a permit that allows us to surf on 3 different local beaches: La Petite Madrague beach, Océan beach and Les Corsaires beach. We will choose one of these beaches for your surfing experience.

Start time As we want to offer you the best conditions for surfing, the starting time depends on the tides, the sandbanks, but also on your level of experience. We therefore recommend not having a too tight schedule on the day of your surf lesson. We will inform you of the exact starting time, once you'll have finalized your booking.

Course content - Quick intro at the base - Warm up: approx. 15 min (as we try to spend as much time as possible in the water) - Practice in the sea: 1.5 h (the instructor will give you some tips, show you the basic techniques and even, if necessary, get out of the water with you to give you more explanations) - Video analysis (for experienced surfers only)
