Mountain Bike Day Tour - Lisbon Area

A mountain bike tour with WeRide offers you the chance to discover Lisbon and its surroundings from a new perspective. For every level, our experienced guides find the right combination of urban trails where you can discover the history of the capital and routes that take you through the heart of nature. The nearby towns of Sintra and Sesimbra also have some exciting trails just waiting to be discovered by you.

Tour Programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We pick you up at the selected meeting point, from where we drive our shuttle to the starting point of the tour. Either we bring your rental bikes with us or we stop on the way to pick them up. Before the tour, you will receive an introduction from your guide to prepare you for the adventure. In order to ensure that the experience is as personal as possible, each guide accompanies a maximum of 7 participants, larger groups are thus accompanied by several guides.
- Tour:
With your experienced mountain bike guide always at your side, you follow the trails and discover a true mountain biking paradise. Depending on the wishes of the group you can also take breaks in between.
- Return:
After the 5-hour tour, we return to the original meeting point by shuttle. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a local lunch with refreshing drinks.

Tour facts
We fully adapt your tour to the needs of the group. Depending on your preferences, fitness level and mountain bike experience, we will choose the perfect trails for you. The distance of the tour can be between 20 and 40km and we will overcome differences in altitude between 800 and 1400m. In the region around the capital, we have the best spots for your tour. The colourful town of Sintra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a real paradise for all bikers. Here you will find a combination of trails of different difficulty levels, which will take you directly to the coast, but also into dense oak forests. But also Lisbon itself has a lot to offer: We'll discover the city's diverse architecture, but we can also try flowing trails in the Monsanto Forest Park. Another highlight is the coastal town of Sesimbra, which offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic during the tours.
