Tour programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
The location of the flight will be decided the day before, or even the very morning of the flight, in order to provide you with the best possible experience. Depending on the weather conditions, you may have to take off from Porto da Cruz, Madalena do Mar, Calheta, Funchal or Cabo Girao (please note that some places are only accessible by car). Rui, your pilot, will be waiting for you directly on site. Then, you will be briefed on the activity, the conditions at the take-off site, the flight plan and instructions for take-off and landing. Once your equipment is put on and you have been harnessed to your pilot, you will only have a few more steps to make before reaching the skies of Madeira.
- Start and Flight:
The take-off is often made close to the coast. Once in the air, you will simply need to relax and enjoy the majestic panorama that extends under your feet: your pilot takes care of everything else. During the flight, photos will be taken from the mainland and you will also have the opportunity to film the whole experience and leave with a souvenir.
- After Landing:
After 15 to 20 min of flight, the landing is made smoothly, generally on the beach if conditions are suitable. Then Rui will take you back to where you met before the flight. If several of you are flying on the same day, count about 1 hour per person for the total time you will need before returning.
