If you want to further enrich your stay in Ischia, the best way to do it is with a boat trip to Procida to admire this fantastic island from the sea.
After departing from Ischia, the first thing you will admire is the small island of Vivara, an island of wild beauty, which will conquer you with its transparent water and which is rich in marine plants. As we reach Procida, the second point of interest of our tour is the famous beach of Pozzo Vecchio, which became well-known for being the set of the film Il Postino by Massimo Troisi. This beach of volcanic origin, with dark-coloured sand and clear waters, will be the perfect stop for a swim.
The navigation continues to Terra Murata, which you can admire from the unique perspective of the sea. Terra Murata is the oldest settlement on the island, fortified and overlooking the sea. You just have to pass Punta Monaci to find yourself in front of the wonderful village of Marina di Corricella, now an icon of the island in the world, with its cluster houses and their vibrant colours. The bay that surrounds Corricella is the perfect place to dive and then dry off in the sun. You also can decide if you want to make a stop of 1 or 2 hours on the island, so that you can also visit it by land.
The last point of interest of our tour is the bay of Chiaiozza, a gem that not everyone knows: it's a stunning natural swimming pool carved into the rock and well hidden among the rocks adjacent to the marina of Chiaiolella. After this last stop, we will head slowly towards Ischia.
