Scuba Diving - Guided Boat Dives in Madeira for certified divers

Madeira has an abundance of unique areas for great scuba diving experiences. We at Azul Diving Center are happy to take you on a boat diving excursion to one of the protected areas around our beautiful island. Visit the homes of all sorts of underwater creatures and revel in the experience of swimming through the peaceful aquatic worlds of Ponta de São Lourenço, Garajau National Park, or Desertas Island. Dive Area We offer boat trips to Ponta de São Lourenço Marine Park, Garajau National Park, or Desertas Island, each of which is one-of-a-kind in terms of its underwater wildlife. Ponta de São Lourenço Marine Park is actually made up of 15 different dive sites which are known for their biodiversity, visibilities of up to 50m, and stunning vertical wall drops of up to 40m. Garajau National Park is equally rich in marine life and is considered a paradise for underwater photography. It has an average depth of 20m and is home to many different types of fish, including tunas, mackerels, and barracudas. Finally, we offer an exclusive day-trip to the Desertas Islands Protected Area which includes a one-tank dive, a lunch box and a guided visit of the natural reserve ashore. During the trip, you have the possibility to observe one of Madeira's rarest species – the monk seal. Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet directly at our dive centre at the time specified on your booking confirmation. All you need to do is show up, check in and gather your rental equipment, which we will have prepared at our jetty. Once we've loaded our speedboat with all the equipment, we head out to our designated dive area. - Diving: During the dives, you will be able to explore the underwater world of one of Madeira's protected areas. Our guides are on hand to show you the most interesting spots and point out the different species to you. - Return: Once we have finished diving, we take the boat back to our dive centre, where you are free to have a shower and use the changing rooms.
