Snorkeling Course - Ponta de São Lourenço

Snorkelling is a great way to explore what's hidden beneath the sea, as it's easy to learn and inexpensive. What is more, Madeira is an outstanding place to go snorkelling, as its marine biosphere is like no other. A snorkelling course with Azul Diving Center will teach you how to use your equipment and provide you with enough opportunities to practice your skills before you feel confident enough to go snorkelling by yourself.

Dive Area
We begin practising in the shallow waters of the bay right in front of our dive centre. Once you feel confident enough, we will head out by boat to one of the snorkelling spots of Ponta de São Lourenço on the eastern coast of Madeira. Here you will be treated to outstanding views of both the Atlantic and of spectacular volcanic rock formations.

Programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet at our dive centre at 09:00 am where we will have prepared all your equipment. You will start your course with a practice session in the pool, where your certified guide will show you how to use your equipment properly and how to stay safe.
- Diving:
Once you feel confident enough, you can go out to sea on our boat and head to head to Ponta de São Lourenço, where you can spend approximately 1.5h exploring the beautiful underwater landscape while being accompanied by your guide.
- Return:
Once we're done snorkeling, we return to our base by boat, where you can have a shower and get changed.
