Surfing Lessons for Kids & Adults - Beginners

Join the surf pros and take the first step into the surf world while on Fuerteventura! Everyone is welcome to participate in the surf lesson with the certified instructors from Fuerteventura Surf School and enjoy 2,5 hours on the water. In Corralejo, where our base is located, the waves are calm and perfectly suitable for the beginners who can fully focus on practicing the basics surf skills. During your lesson, you will learn the proper movement on the board, paddling techniques, the right take-off position and balance, the standard standing position and many more. Our priority is to make you feel comfortable on the surfboard and let you try out your new skills in a safe and fun environment. See you soon!

Meeting & Preparation
Meet us 10 minutes before the booked time at our base in Corralejo where your instructor will wait for you to brief you about the lesson, hand you the necessary equipment and make sure you are ready to head to the chosen beach. At our base, you can use showers after your lesson and leave your personal belongings in the lockers.

Course Content
- Moving the board properly in the basic lying position (prone position) and learning to handle the board dynamically and functional
- Progressive paddling in order to take the foam/waves alone
- Right take-off position
- Basic standing posture ''functional stance''
- Surfing the whitewater
- Whitewater skirting
- Drills as basic exercises for mobility
