Surfing Lessons for Kids & Adults - Beginner

The south of Fuerteventura with its numerous sandy beaches and optimal waves offers the best conditions for learning how to surf. Together with the friendly team of Matas Bay, find out what makes surfing so fascinating! At La Pared beach, considered one of the best surf spots in Europe, our experienced instructors will teach you all the basics you need to know to catch the perfect wave. In small groups of 2 to 6 participants (in holiday periods max. 8) you will achieve fast learning results and soon you will stand on the surfboard confidently.

Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our base in Costa Calma or pick you up from your hotel in the south of the island. Before the course starts you can put on your wetsuit and you will receive a suitable surfboard. Together we go to the beach where the best waves are waiting for you (mostly in La Pared) and start the course.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

From day 1:
- Spot info
- Balance exercises
- Catching waves lying down on the board
- Catching white water waves

From day 4:
- Navigation & control
- Metereology & wind directions
- Catching white water waves and start to go into deeper water
- Carving
