Goal of the course
The goal of the course which takes 4-5 days is to teach you the basics of scuba diving and equipment and to practice in confined waters and also in the open sea. You'll become confident whilst moving underwater and automatize your moves. Depending on your age, you'll get a certification after completing this course. If you are younger than 15 years, you'll get the Junior Open Water Diver certification. Participants above 15 years get the Open Water Diver certification. Those certifications are life-long valid, recognized internationally and can be upgraded any time.

Meeting & Preparation
Come to our base in Kaštel Stari located across the street near the Apartman Bralić at least 30min before the starting time you booked. You find enough free parking spaces in front of the base. First, you'll get to know your dive instructor who will also give you more detailed information about the program. Afterwards, he will brief you about safety and we spend some time learning the theory about scuba diving. You can also choose the e-learning option and study from the comfort of your home. When you feel ready, we'll help you to put on the equipment and will head to the sea. In the confined waters we'll train you to breathe underwater and then go deeper and do the open water dive.
