Canyoning in the Coiserette Canyon - Discovery

Welcome to one of the most beautiful and complete canyons in Eastern France! The Coiserette Canyon awaits you in a setting of great beauty with all the classic obstacles of a successful canyoning descent. With our qualified instructor, you will be in good hands to face what is considered to be the narrowest canyon in France: some passages are not even a meter wide! Come and challenge yourself to a descent that promises to be memorable!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet in front of the cathedral of Saint-Claude. After being introduced to your instructor, you will take your car again for about 10in to reach the car park next to the canyon. There, you will be given your equipment and then you will start walking for about 10min. Once at the beginning of the canyon, you will be briefed on the activity that awaits you and the safety instructions to follow. Then it's time for fun!
- Tour:
The descent begins with a 10m abseil, to get into the mood! For 2hrs, you will then follow the classic obstacles of a successful canyoning descent: jumps up to 8m, slides, beautiful pools, without forgetting the most spectacular part: the Sesserre gorge, only 1m wide!
- Arrival:
Once the descent is complete, a 15-minute walk awaits you to reach your car. You can then resume the course of your day, your head full of wonderful memories.

- Canyon: Malvaux Canyon (Difficulty level: intermediate)
- Description: one of the most remarkable of the massif, with a very special atmosphere, a wide variety of obstacles and some of the narrowest passages in France.
- Total duration: 4hrs
- Time in the canyon: 2hrs
- Abseiling height: 10m
- Jump height: 8m (optional, avoidable with via ferrata section)
