30 km, 11 rapids and a passage under the famous Pont d'Arc - this is what awaits you for what is undoubtedly the most physical canoe descent of the Ardèche Gorges river: but don't worry, it is accessible to all those ready to provide a little elbow grease to reach the finish point. Together with friends or family, you can paddle at your own pace and stop for a swim and a picnic in the midst of the gorge's magnificent landscapes. We await you in Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche for a day that will remain engraved in your memory!
Tour programme- Preparation:We advise you to
arrive at our base at least 15 min before the time indicated on your booking. A large free car park awaits you on site. A briefing will be provided before the shuttle departure, during which you will be informed about safety instructions, markings on the river and the return trip. Then, you will travel by bus to the departure pier.
- Tour:Once at the starting point, your equipment will be provided (life jacket, waterproof canister, canoe and paddle) and you'll be given a short introduction on its use. When you're ready, the fun can begin. You can go down the Ardèche river at your own pace and enjoy the landscapes that slowly pass before your eyes. You will cross a dozen rapids, including the famous Charlemagne, which will make this descent a little more exciting and of course you will have the opportunity to pass under the famous Pont d'Arc! You can of course also stop along the way for a swim or a picnic.
- Arrival:Once you reach the arrival pier at 5 pm at the latest, the bus will be there to pick you up and take you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting for you. A perfect end to a great day!
