30km Kayak & Canoe Hire in Ardèche - 2 days with bivouac

Spend two unforgettable days in the heart of the Ardèche Gorges! With the bivouac option from Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche, you can enjoy the river, its famous Pont d'Arc, its rapids, its wild landscapes and even spend a night in the middle of nature, thereby adding a special flavour to this adventure. This way, you will have no rush completing the 30 km stretch along which you can stop for swimming breaks or just to rest. Children, adults and all nature lovers are welcome!

Tour programme

- Preparation:
We advise you to arrive at our base at least 15 min before the time indicated on your booking. A large free car park awaits you on site. A briefing will be provided before the shuttle departure, during which you will be informed about safety instructions, markings on the river and the return trip. Then you will travel by bus to the departure pier.

- Tour:
At the starting point, your equipment will be provided (life jacket, waterproof canister, canoe and paddle) and you'll receive a short introduction on the use of your equipment. When you're ready, the fun can begin. You can go down the Ardèche river at your own pace and enjoy the landscapes that slowly pass before your eyes. In total, you will cross a dozen of rapids, including the famous Charlemagne, which will make this descent a little more exciting and of course you will have the opportunity to pass under the famous Pont d'Arc! In the evening, you will stop in one of the two bivouacs previously booked for a very special night. Then you will resume your descent the next day, until the arrival point.

- Arrival:
Once you reach the arrival pier at 5 pm at the latest on the following day, the bus will be there to pick you up and take you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting for you.
