Rafting "Canoa Raft Tour" - Paiva River

If you feel like exploring one of Portugal's most powerful rivers but don't feel super confident about facing those strong currents, we have the perfect option for you: our "Canoa Raft" activity only takes place in the summer, when the water level is lower and the rapids are less intense. Raft canoeing is a mix between the relaxation of canoeing and the thrill of rafting. By using inflatable canoes, we can flow down shallow waters with small rapids and rocky riverbeds with all comfort and security. Tour programme - Preparation: Once you have finalised your booking, we'll contact you to fix an individual meeting point (at your hotel or a train station for example). We'll then come and pick you up with our van at the agreed-upon time. It will take us approximately 1h to get from Porto to the tour's starting point, which will either be Espiunca or Arreinho. This leaves us enough time to tell you everything there is to know about the region and to get to know each other on the way. Once we reach our facilities close to the starting point, you'll be able to suit up and get your equipment. After a short briefing, your guide will take you to the starting point and the adventure can begin! - Tour: Along the way, we will stop at secluded river beaches and jumping spots (jumping into the water is completely optional). During your 3h rafting adventure, you'll discover the joy and benefits of raft canoeing, and will make plenty of unforgettable memories. After the activity, we'll set an amazing traditional Portuguese picnic. - Arrival: After the tour, you'll be brought back to the initial starting point, where you can shower and have a nice little picnic. You'll then be brought back to your initial meeting point.
