Tour programme
We meet at the Marina of Vila Franca do Campo at the booked time. We brief you about safety on board and your guide gives you an introduction to the local maritime wildlife, its characteristics and habitat. Before we head to the boat, we discuss your preferences and what you would want to see during the tour.
Suggested Routes:
Diverse maritime life of Atlantic Ocean gives you a unique opportunity to observe many species of whales, dolphins, sea turtles, sea birds and fish. Depending on a season, there's a possibility to observe migratory animals such as Baleen Whale Giants and even four different species of dolphins. Our skipper receives the location of the animals via VHF Radio from the inland lookout point so we know the exact direction where we head with the boat. If you prefer to go snorkeling or explore a volcanic islet formation, we know the best spots to do it. During the whole tour, there's a wildlife guide who will happily answer your questions and provide you with his or her maritime knowledge. After approximately 3 hours, we go back to the point where the tour began.
