Are you looking for ways to change things up during your holiday in Croatia? Allow us to take you on a discovery dive so you can see what scuba diving is all about and get to know the rich flora and fauna hidden beneath the sea just off the shore from the campsite in Šimuni. Try out something new! We look forward to introducing you to this great underwater activity!
Dive Area
Our house reef is ideal for your discovery dive, as it is easily accessible and unique in terms of its biodiversity. Since fishing is prohibited here, there are many types of fish that don't shy away from divers who come to visit, making it a perfect spot for your first attempt at scuba diving.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet at our dive centre at the time specified in your booking confirmation. Upon arrival at our camp, please proceed to the reception area where you'll check in. You'll be asked to leave one form of identification, which will be returned to you upon departure. Feel free to request a camp map for your convenience, or simply follow the road signs directing you to the diving center, where you'll find us located. If you arrive by car, parking space is widely available nearby the center.
When you come to the diving center you will first fill out the formalities such as filing out the medical statement. After arriving at the spot, you will receive a short theoretical introduction to teach you some basics of scuba diving such as how to use your equipment, how to conduct yourself underwater, and how to communicate with your buddy. Once you're ready, we will provide you with your rental equipment, and you can get started. Since you will be diving at our house reef, it is only a short walk down to the beach, from which you will enter into the water.
- Diving:
The dive itself will take approximately 30 minutes, during which time you will dive to a maximum depth of 5 m and explore the surroundings.
- Return:
Once the dive is over, we exit the water at the same beach we entered and walk back to the dive centre.

Šimuni has beautiful nature, both on land and underwater. The staff is friendly and professional, will provide all the information and answer your questions. The whole process is very pleasant and peaceful, you try everything slowly, step by step, to see for yourself that there is nothing to be afraid of.
