If you're planning on coming to Zadar or are on holiday in the area, and have a whole day to spare, we have got the perfect activity for you: a full-day kayak tour at the beautiful local island of Dugi Otok! You'll experience everything your inner adventurer may desire: kayaking, swimming, snorkeling and even cave jumping! Furthermore, you'll have two guides (for a maximum of 12 participants) which means that if you want to split up into two groups, we can adapt the tour to your level.
Our tour starts in Brbinj, a small village on the coast of Dugi Otok. This means that you'll have to take the ferry from Zadar to Brbinj on your own. We'll let you know where exactly to meet us and we'll be waiting for all participants right at the ferry stop on the island. Furthermore, the ferry tickets are included in the full-day tour to Dugi Otok, so there's really nothing you need to worry about!
Once everyone has found us, we'll hop in our van and, after a short 10-minute drive, we'll arrive at Brbišćica Bay. From there, we'll kayak to a nearby sea cave in which you can swim or even cave jump if you're feeling brave enough! Afterwards, we'll paddle back to the bay and take a 30-minute drive to the northern part of the island. We'll stop near the Veli Rat lighthouse and have lunch at a restaurant, where you'll have all the time you need to eat and rest. As soon as everyone is ready to go, we'll go put the kayaks in the water again and paddle to our next stop: a shipwreck! Here, you'll get to snorkel around and explore the wreck. Our next and last stop of the day is Sakarun Beach, which is only a 10-minute drive away from where we'll have had lunch. At this almost magical white sandy beach with a Caribbean flair to it, we'll have time to swim, snorkel or simply relax on the beach and play games.
Depending on how much time we have left, we'll either take you back to the ferry stop in Brbinj where you'll take the ferry back to Zadar or, if you're with us between the 19th of July and the 25th of August (Monday to Thursday), we'll drive further South to Sali where a beautiful Catamaran will take you back to Zadar.
