Whether you're planning a nice activity for you and your family or a fun experience with friends, our half-day kayak tour at Dugi Otok is adaptable to paddlers of all levels! During this tour, you'll explore the charming town of Zadar from a new perspective while still seeing some of its main sights such as the Sea Organ. Depending on your wishes, you'll be able to include different parts of the tour. You can either take it slow and have regular breaks for relaxing and swimming, or complete the entire route and discover as much of the area around Zadar as possible. We're always happy to cater to your needs and wishes and we will make sure your activity exceeds your expectations!
Tour programme- Preparation:We'll either meet in
Puntamika, in the North of Zadar, or in
Punta Bajlo, in the South of Zadar, depending on the weather conditions. You can find a free car park close to the meeting points. We'll, of course,
let you know beforehand where exactly the meeting point will be for your activity. Once we're all settled up, we'll put the kayaks in the water, get on them and the adventure can start!
- Tour:We'll first paddle to Zadar's old town, passing tourist attractions such as the
"Sea Organ" and
"Greeting to the Sun". The former looks like normal steps leading into the water, however, there is a more complex idea and engineering behind it - you'll have to find out yourself though! The latter consists of three hundred multi-layered glass plates placed on in the ground that lights up at night. After these two exciting stops, we'll paddle our way to
Riva, the main local
beach promenade with a view on ancient Roman ruins. Continuing our tour, we'll pass
St. Donat's church and head to the
Foša port, where we'll have time to stop and go for a swim or a drink at the
beach bar. You'll of course be free to jump into the water at any moment during the tour.
- Return:After the tour, we'll head back to our initial starting point.
