From Funchal, you will experience a unique tour, including cetaceans and wildlife watching, such as turtles and seabirds. Meanwhile, you can swim below the impressive cliffs of ‘Cabo Girão’, one of the highest sea cliffs in the world with its height of 580 m. Tour programme - Departure: We meet directly at our office in the Funchal harbour. The check-in closes 30 min prior to the time of departure written on your booking confirmation, so make sure to be at the harbour on time. Once everybody is on board, we will depart for our adventure! - Tour: On board our comfortable catamaran, the tour will take us along the southern coast of Madeira where we will spot dolphins, whales, turtles and seabirds if we are lucky. Once on site, we will slow down the engines, which will make it more relaxing and will also pollute less. During the trip, our passionate crew will share with you their knowledge about the various species that you will see, as well as technical and historical information. We will also make a stop below the impressive cliffs of Cabo Girão for a well-deserved swim and snorkel break. - Arrival: After 3hrs, it is time to go back to Funchal where you will debark, you will leave with lasting and wonderful memories.
Characteristics of the boat - Number of passengers: we own three catamarans with a capacity of 70, 98 and 216 passengers, and we will choose the more suitable boat according to the demand - Bar - Sun-protected area - Restrooms
Included Services - Cetacean guarantee: In case you don't see any cetaceans, you will have a second trip free to try again or till you see cetaceans. Usually a second trip will suffice because we have 90% chances of watching cetaceans.
Not included - Snacks and Drinks - Snorkel equipment
