Discover canyoning in Val Grande in the beautiful Maggia Valley. This scenic canyon offers clear pools, natural slides, jumps and abseiling sections in a wild and varied setting. The available basic option is designed for sporty beginners and for participants who want to take the next step after an easier canyoning experience. Accompanied by experienced local guides from purelements, you will enjoy a safe and unforgettable adventure in one of Ticino’s most charming valleys. Jumping and sliding are always optional.
Tour programme- Preparation:
We'll meet right in Gordevio. There is a free car park next to our base. There you will meet your guide and get the necessary equipment for the tour. We start with a comfortable 40-minute ascent through the old chestnut woods of the Valle Maggias. Once we arrive at the highest point, which marks the beginning of our adventure, there will be a safety briefing.
- Tour:Jumps and slides are always optional during the whole tour and never obligatory. After the abseil training a first trial jump and a fun slide await you. Then we continue to the first abseil point. This is the ideal preparation for the next waterfall, the highest and most impressive of the whole tour.
- Arrival:
The crowning finale of the tour is a last waterfall. From there it is only a stone's throw to the car, where a small aperitif will be waiting for you.
