Canyoning in Purcaraccia Canyon from Solenzara

At the foot of pink granite peaks, a marvellous canyon awaits you: the Purcaraccia Canyon! This canyon will challenge you with its various obstacles and with one of its abseils along a waterfall in particular. You will be accompanied during the descent by a certified instructor, who will guide you safely through this magnificent setting. No wonder Purcaraccia Canyon is one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe. Test your abilities and be ready to sweat - especially the approach and return walks are particularly long: at the end, you will be all the more proud to have completed it!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in Sari-Solenzara at the Solenzara Adventure Park. You will meet your instructor on site and then follow them by car to the starting point of the canyon (about 30 min away). Here, you will be provided with equipment, briefed about safety and learn more about the canyoning tour. Afterward, we will need about 1.5 h to reach the canyon by foot.
- Tour:
A succession of natural crystal clear pools and giant slides await you during the 3 hrs you will need to complete the canyon. Two abseiling descents of 40 m will punctuate the descent, one of them along a waterfall. Throughout the tour, you will also be able to enjoy the sumptuous landscapes in the middle of which you find yourself.
- Return:
Once you reach the end of the canyon, you will be asked to make one last effort: you will still have to walk for 30 min before returning to your vehicle. If you'd like, you can also go back to our base and take a shower.
