River Trekking in Massif de Bavella for Families

Through different recreational routes in an idyllic setting of coloured granite and crystal clear water, this river trekking tour is punctuated by fun obstacles perfectly suited for an outing with family or friends. You will be accompanied by a certified guide who will ensure your safety and introduce you to the local fauna and flora in its wildest environment. From the age of 7 years old, this hike in the river bed, full of twists and turns, is very accessible and requires no particular experience and no physical condition for the enjoyment of both adults and children.

Tour programme - Preparation: We meet at our base in Sari-Solenzara at the Solenzara Adventure Park. You will meet your instructor on site and then follow them by car to the starting point of the canyon (about 30 min away). Once on site, your equipment will be provided before a 30-min approach walk brings you to the canyon. Before you go into the water, you will be given a briefing on the activity and safety instructions. - Tour: Depending on the time of the year and the weather, we can take you to different canyons in the Bavella massif. An easy 2-hour walk in the wilderness awaits you. Slides, small jumps (not obligatory) and a succession of crystal-clear water basins are available in the canyon. But unlike canyoning, you won't encounter any abseiling. During the whole tour, you will also be able to enjoy the magnificent landscapes in the middle of which you can have fun together. - Arrival: As soon as the canyon is over, you will be asked to make a last effort: you will have to walk for another 15 min before getting back to your vehicle. If you'd like, you can also go back to our base and take a shower.
