Boat Trip to the Berlengas with Snorkeling

This exciting boat trip will take you on a beautiful cave tour on a speed boat! From our base in Peniche, we will head to the Berlengas, the region which is classified on the UNESCO list as "World Biosphere Reserve". It guarantees you a new experience and best memories from your stay in Portugal!

Tour programme
- Departure:
Our meeting point is in Marina de Peniche where the boat, skipper and a guide will welcome you. To be able to start a tour on time, we ask you to come 30 minutes in advance. If you travel by car, you will easily find a spot at the parking in the marina. After check-in and a briefing about the general rules of the tour, we will be ready to go.
- Tour:
The boat takes you to Berlenga Island, which takes approximately 20 minutes from Peniche. Once there, we take you for a cave tour. Berlenga offers unique rock formations in the caves which we can be explored from the boat. Then, we hand you the snorkeling equipment needed. For approximately 1.5 hours, you can explore the underwater world and have fun by snorkeling.
- Return:
After the tour, we go back to Marina de Peniche.

- From June 1st, 2022, access to Berlenga Island depends on prior registration on a platform and payment of the respective fee in order to control the Human Cargo Capacity. In this sense, before purchasing your ticket, you must first register and pay the tourist tax on the Berlengaspass platform, using the following link: https://berlengaspass.icnf.pt.
- The duration of the trips may be between 3 and 4 hours, depending on the time of year.
