Buggy Tour "Adventure" - Porto District

Every day is a fun day when you drive a buggy car! Oporto Buggy Adventure invites you to participate in our most loved buggy tour - 3 hours of exploring the region of Baltar in Porto District. During the tour, you will not only be able to drive a modern buggy car but also visit historical Roman ruins, a museum and a charming village, built entirely of stone tiles. Before finishing the tour, we invite you to enjoy a late lunch prepared from local delicacies. Additionally, our professional photographer takes pictures the whole time, which you can then take home with you. If you are staying in Porto or Gaia, the transfer to our base is included in the price. We are looking forward to meeting you in Baltar!

Tour programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet 10 minutes before the booked time at our base in Baltar. If you stay in Porto or Gaia, we can pick you up from your accommodation. There, we discuss the safety rules and the details of buggy cars. Then, together with your tour leader, you head to grab the buggies and you are ready to start your adventure!
- Tour:
For 3 hours, we explore the mountainous region of Portugal, drive from one village to another on winding paths. Our three main stops are in Quintandona, Castro do Monte Mozinho and Broa Museum. Quintandona is a village where you find the traditional culture of Portugal, can stroll on the streets made from stones and have a look at beautiful buildings, all made from light stones. Castro do Monte Mozinho is a Roman ruin which kept its circular shape and its stone formations give you a glimpse into the past days. A natural history museum, Museu da Broa, takes you back in time to visit traditional houses and mills of the area. Then, we have a late lunch prepared for local products of the region. During the whole tour, you follow the tour leader who leads the way in the first buggy.
- Return:
After an adventurous buggy tour, we drive back to our base in Baltar. There, you are welcomed to use the changing rooms to put on fresh clothes.

- Speed: the speed we travel at during the tour depends on how confident participants feel on their quad bikes and will be set by the tour leader. Racing, overtaking, or any other dangerous behaviour is strictly forbidden during the whole tour.
