Trial Scuba Diving in Tarifa for Beginners

There's no need to look at your watch, we know what time it is: it's time for your very first dive experience! As this is an exciting and unique experience, we're also giving you an exciting choice: you can either do a standard Discover Scuba Diving session or do the Basic Diver Course. The latter allows you to gain credit for your first open water dive and therefore get a discount for the Open Water Diver Course, the first milestone in any diver's career.

Goal of the course
After a 1h-long theory session (2h for the Basic Diver Course), dives in shallow water and open water dives (up to 12m for the Basic Diver Course), you'll have a clear overview of the basics of scuba diving. You'll then be ready to take the next step and either does the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver Course. In comparison to the Discover Scuba option, you'll be able to gain credit for your first dive in the Open Water Diver Course if you opt for the Basic Diver Course.

Meeting & Preparation
We'll meet at our base in Tarifa, close to the local port. There, you'll fill out the necessary paperwork, get changed, briefed and the adventure can begin! In groups of 4 divers per instructor, you'll have the basic techniques down in no time at all!

Course content
- Discover Scuba Diving: 1h Theory Lesson + 1 Dive in Shallow Water (up to 1.5m) + 1 Dive in Open Water (only if comfortable enough)
- Basic Diver Course: 2h Theory Lesson + 1 Dive in Shallow Water (up to 1.5m) + 1 Dive in Open Water (up to 12m)
Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
