Let yourself be carried high up into the sky be thermic winds, so you can, quite literally, expand your horizon and admire the beautiful landscape around the Achen Lake in Tyrol from above. Allow Fly Achensee to take you on a tandem flight like no other and enjoy being in the air for longer than most standard flights. You won't regret it!
Tour programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We meet at the lower station of the Rofanseilbahn cable car at 09:50 am. Together with your tandem pilot, you will take the cable car up to the top of the mountain where you will be briefed on the basics of paragliding. You will be strapped into your harness and the pilot will prepare the paraglider.
- Start and Flight:
Once all is set, the pilot will instruct you to run a couple of meters. The pilot will lift the paraglider into the air and a few seconds later you will gently take off from the slope. During your flight, you will cover an altitude of 900m and you will be able to take in the panoramic view of the surrounding Achensee region. All you need to do is lean back and relax – your tandem pilot will take care of everything else.
- After Landing:
We land back in Maurach, close to the initial meeting point at the cable car station. This is where we will part ways again ... until you come back for some more paragliding fun of course.
