Guided Dives in Museo Atlántico for Certified Divers

Yes, you read that right, Pura Vida Diving is taking you to Europe's only Underwater Museum! The so-called Museo Atlántico was created to educate tourists as well as conserve the marine natural environment. So if you're a certified diver, come join us on a guided tour through this unique museum and make life-lasting memories!

Dive Area
The museum is located in the bay of Las Coloradas, off the coast of Lanzarote. Along with your guide and your group, you'll be able to explore the sculptures and artworks which are located at a depth of approximately 12 metres.

Programme
- Meeting & Preparation:
We'll meet at our base at noon. If you're staying somewhere in Playa Blanca, we're also happy to come pick you up at your accommodation. At the base, you'll receive your equipment, get changed and get a short briefing on the rules and the museum. Once everyone is ready, we'll get on our boat, which has a maximum capacity of 12 divers, and dive into this new and unique adventure.
- Diving:
At the museum, you'll see different art pieces such as human statues, which are all made of concrete containing a neutral pH-value, therefore allowing marine life to flourish on and around them. In fact, the museum's main project is to let all installations get immersed by marine biomass to create a vast artificial reef. A cause worth supporting, right? Then simply join us on this trip, and enjoy yourself while simultaneously also helping the local environment.
- Return:
After approximately 2 hours, we'll head back to the base where you'll be able to talk about this unique experience while having a drink and eating some nice snacks.
