Scuba Diving Course for Beginners - BSAC Ocean Diver

Take the BSAC Ocean Diver Course and become a qualified diver, right here in Korčula! The British Sub Aqua Club is an internationally recognised association, its president being HRH The Duke of Cambridge, William himself. You won't find a more royal scuba diving course than this one!

Goal of the course
You will learn how to properly use basic diving gear, control your buoyancy and underwater movements, and understand basic scuba diving safety skills. After your classroom and in-water training, you'll take a short theory exam before receiving your scuba diver certification. As a qualified Ocean Diver, you can dive up to a depth of 20m anywhere in the world, alongside another Ocean Diver.

Meeting & Preparation
Our meeting point is at the Dupin Diving Centre in Korčula. After a very warm welcome, you will have to fill out some paperwork. As soon as you are done with that, your instructor will take you through the next steps. Your instructor will start by getting you comfortable breathing underwater in the sheltered water of the house bay and then develop your skills so that you are competent to dive safely in open water.

Course content
- Day 1: 2 Theory Lessons + Practice in confined water
- Day 2: Theory Lesson + Practice in confined water + 1 Open Water Dive
- Day 3: Theory Lesson + Practice in confined water + 1 Open Water Dive
- Day 4: Theory Lesson + Practice in confined water + 1 Open Water Dive
- Day 5: Theory Lesson + 1 Open Water Dive
Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
