A trip to Gozo is a great opportunity to try scuba diving for the first time. Stop and let us show you what it's like to breathe underwater. The conditions around our beautiful island are ideal for beginners due to their easy accessibility. What is more, the crystal clear waters and the colourful marine wildlife you will encounter here will make this experience particularly special. Who knows? Goal of the course
During this try dive, you will learn about the basics of scuba diving, such as how your scuba gear works and what it's like to breathe underwater. The dive is intended to give you a taste of what the sport is all about, so you can decide whether this is an activity you would like to pursue further in the form of a certification course.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our dive centre at 02:15 pm where you will be checked in. We will ask you to fill out the medical statement to confirm that you are physically capable of scuba diving. After that, you will meet your instructor for the day who will give you a short theoretical introduction. You will also be required to complete a so-called Confined Water Dive, during which you practice a set of basic skills you will need when diving in the open sea. Once your instructor feels you are ready, he will take you out for the real-deal, your first Open Water Dive. Depending on the weather conditions, we will take you to a suitable dive site where you can enter the water directly from the shore. During the dive, you will be accompanied by your instructor at all times, to ensure that you remain safe and sound.
