Canoe Rafting for Adventurers

If you are looking for a new adventure, our canoe rafting on the upper Iller is the perfect choice. Embedded in the beautiful Allgäu, this tour offers an unbeatable combination of action and beautiful scenery. With the small and agile boat, in which you can paddle with two or three people, you will feel every wave and even get wet. Prepare yourself for real whitewater fun in the Upper Allgäu!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the agreed time at our station in Blaichach. Here you get to know your guides, get the appropriate equipment and can change in our changing rooms. As soon as all participants are ready, we will make our way to the river in carpools.
- Tour:
Just before the tour can start, your guide will give you some safety instructions as well as a detailed introduction to paddling techniques and river conditions. This is followed by an exciting tour through the beautiful Allgäu landscape. Together you paddle to overcome any obstacles. During the whole tour, an experienced guide is always at your side in an agile kayak, giving helpful tips and helping you if necessary.
- Arrival:
The tour ends close to our station, to which we return on foot. We will wash the wetsuits together before you can enjoy a well-deserved schnapps and a pleasant shower. We also take the drivers back to their vehicles.

Tour facts
- River: Upper Iller (Difficulty level: Class I-II)
- Description: Between Oberstdorf and Sonthofen, the upper Iller offers an action-packed rafting tour, which is easy to master even without previous knowledge.
- Day tour: Oberstdorf - Sonthofen (about 15km)
- Half-day tour: Fischen - Sonthofen (about 8km)
- Total duration: 2.5 - 4.5h
- Time on the river: 1.5 - 2h (half-day) or 3 - 3.5h (full-day tour)
- Participants per boat: 2-3

BBQ
On Saturdays, there is usually a BBQ in our station, in which you can participate for € 17 per person. For groups of 8 persons or more, we can also organise a BBQ for you on other days.

Bring along
- Swimwear
- Second pair of solid, closed footwear (which may get wet)
- Towel
- Glasses strap or contacts if you wear glasses
