During a sit-on-top kayak tour on the Iller, find out what it feels like to navigate through all the obstacles of a river with the help of a paddle and your body weight. With this agile piece of sports equipment, you are particularly close to the water, which provides a lot of action. If you need help, your experienced guide is always at your side to give tips and lead you in the right direction. The sit-on-top, in contrast to the regular kayak, has the advantage that you get away from the boat immediately if you capsize. We await you with an unforgettable adventure!
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet at the agreed time at our station in Blaichach. Here you get to know your guides, get the appropriate equipment and can change in our changing rooms. As soon as all participants are ready, we will make our way to the gorge, you will need your own car to drive from the meeting place to the entry point for the canyon/river. (€1 parking fee).
- Tour:
Just before the tour can start, your guide will give you some safety instructions as well as a detailed introduction to paddling techniques and river conditions. This is followed by an exciting tour through the beautiful Allgäu landscape. With the help of the paddle, you steer your sit-on-top kayak to overcome any obstacles. During the whole tour, an experienced guide is always at your side in an agile kayak, giving helpful tips and helping you if necessary.
- Return:
The tour ends close to our station, to which we return on foot. We will wash the wetsuits together before you can enjoy a well-deserved schnapps and a pleasant shower. We also take the drivers back to their vehicles.
