Via Corda in Besorgues Valley - Eagle Trail

The Eagle Via Corda is a vertical and aerial hike that will take you to the highest summits. With this activity similar to the via ferrata, you will climb on the foothills of the Ardèche mountain with the help of different activities that allow you to progress along the cliff. At more than 1,200 m above sea level, you will also benefit from an amazing view of the Besorgues valley below. This sporting and fun activity, which can be enjoyed from the age of 10, is suitable for families as well as friends and requires no previous experience. Note that this is an exclusive trail, so you and your group will be the only ones to enjoy it!

Tour programme - Preparation: You will meet your guide directly at the canyon car park in Labastide-sur-Bésorgues. After picking up your equipment and receiving the usual briefing on safety instructions, you walk towards the start of adventure trail (20 min). - Tour: For 2 hrs, you progress along the cliff by following a rope, alternating climbing passages and monkey bridge. Your guide will ensure your safety and give you advice on how to approach each activity with confidence. A good physical condition is necessary but the activities do not present any difficulty and you will be able to surpass yourself while enjoying the panorama. To finish the trail, a final abseiling of 45 m awaits you. - Arrival: Once you reached the end of the adventure trail, a 15-minute walk awaits you to get back to your vehicle.
