Ladies and Gentlemen, may we present: THE word-famous and most popular beginners' course, the PADI Open Water Diver! This course offers you a clear overview of diving theory, allows you to practice and learn more about basic techniques and even complete not 2, not 3, but 4 open water dives! So come join us and choose Dive Club Ocean Trek as your guide through this unique experience.

Goal of the course
To complete the PADI Open Water Diver, you'll have to go through theory sessions, do some exercises in confined water, 4 open water dives as well as a written exam. The exam doesn't necessarily have to take place on the last day of the course, simply tell your instructor when you feel ready and you'll be able to do it. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you'll be certified to dive anywhere in the world, as long as you don't go deeper than 18 metres and dive together with a dive buddy.

Meeting & Preparation
Unless you've opted for our pickup service, we meet at our base at the agreed-upon time. You'll meet your instructor who'll start by giving you a briefing on the schedule for the next days. After that, you'll receive your equipment and will be ready for your first underwater experience. Our instructors know the area like the back of their hand and will always choose the best diving spots for you. With beginners, we usually start by diving from a sand beach and later take them to meet our nicest marine friends such as rays and turtles.

Course content
- Day 1: Theory Lessons + Practice in confined water + 2 Open Water Dives (12m)
- Day 2: 2 Open Water Dives (12m, 18m)
- Day 3: This day is reserved for exercises (in case you still want to work on something), open water dives (in case we didn't have time to complete all 4 dives before) and the final written exam
Note: The order and length of the individual parts of the course can change and will be individually adapted by the instructor.
