Sea Kayak Tour to the Ponta da Piedade Grottos

Take your family on a small adventure and explore the caves and caverns of Ponta da Piedade from a kayak! Accompanied by an experienced kayak guide, you will have a unique opportunity to visit places, which are not easily accessible.

Tour programme

- Preparation:
We meet at the Marina de Lagos in Passeio dos Descobrimentos 1-16 15 min before the departure time. We set off on a modern spacious catamaran. During this time, an experienced kayak guide will tell you more about the tour. Further, you receive an introduction into paddling and navigating along with life jackets and safety instructions.

- Tour:
On the way, we will pass the wonderful golden beaches of Meia Praia, Batata, D.Ana, Camilo and a picturesque lighthouse. Once we reach the caves of Ponta da Piedade, you will hop on kayaks and follow the kayak guide into the heart of the caves which are not accessible for boats. Have your eyes wide open and let yourself get carried away by the stunning formations above your head and also under your kayak.

- Arrival:
After approx. 1h of paddling through the unspoiled ancient rock formations, we return to the catamaran. You can still enjoy some fun time on the water trampoline and swimming and jumping in the refreshing waters before we go back to the Marina de Lagos.
