You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

These lessons are for advanced snowboarders who can already turn confidently on both edges and feel comfortable riding on red slopes.

Children will work on their technique on challenging slopes, including black slopes, with tricky exercises and optimized turns. Depending on their wishes, they can also learn nose and tail turns or other tricks.

Groups have a maximum of 8 participants per instructor to ensure individual attention, safety, and fast progress.

For morning lessons, the meeting point is at the First bottom station 1 hour before the lesson begins. For afternoon lessons, meet at Schreckfeld station (the 2nd station of the First cable car) 5 minutes before the lesson starts.

A minimum of 3 participants is required for the group lesson to take place. If fewer than 3 sign up, private lessons will be offered as an alternative for an additional fee.
