You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

There is a maximum of 8 participants per group, allowing the ski instructors to adapt to each child's level.

If you book a full-day lesson, lunch is included and the instructors take care of the children during the lunch break.

For morning lessons, the meeting time is 1 hour before the lesson at the First bottom station. For afternoon lessons, it is 5 minutes before the lesson at Schreckfeld station (the second station of the First cable car).

Group lessons require a minimum of 3 participants. If fewer than 3 register, private lessons are offered as an alternative at an additional cost.

Participants need a ski pass for the area matching their level: children in the Blue King and Star levels need a pass for Bodmi Arena, while children in the Red League classes need a pass for the Grindelwald-Wengen area.
