Watch them dive in and out of the sea as they come to greet you and simply enjoy seeing these graceful creatures in their natural habitat. Witness South Africa's incredible marine wildlife and create lasting memories while on your Garden Route tour. Tour info - Route: From Central Beach in Plettenberg Bay to Arch Rock, the Robberg Peninsula and back to the Central Beach - Type: Round trip Tour programme - Departure: Please arrive at the Ocean Blue Adventures Shop at the time specified on your booking confirmation to be checked in and to receive your life jacket. You will then receive a pre-trip briefing to give you an overview of what to expect and how to stay safe. After that, you'll be ready to board the boat. - Tour: Typically, we start the dolphin watching tour by heading eastwards past the bird sanctuary and continue along Keurbooms Beach where we usually spot several bottlenose as well as the rare Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin. Other sightings along this stretch include different species of sharks. Once we reach Arch Rock, we start to cross the bay at which point pelagic sea birds are frequently to be seen. At approximately 7km from the shore, we often come across Bryde's whales and common dolphins. Having reached the tip of Robberg Peninsula, we head out a little further to the 'Wild Side' where, on occasion, we encounter more whales and pods of dolphins. We then return to the inside of the peninsula where we cruise along the rocky coastline, giving you a chance to see the growing colony of Cape fur seals. At given times of the year, we might even see one or the other great white shark roaming the waters here. - Arrival: At the end of the dolphin watching tour, we land back on Central Beach where you will depart the boat and hand back your life jacket. Included Services - Life jacket - Refreshments on the boat Bring Along - Camera - Sunscreen - Hat - Sunglasses - Warm, wind-proof clothing
