For the safety reasons, we use headlamps but except them, you are surrounded by complete darkness to be able to fully see the phenomenon of the Northern Lights. Tour programme
- Preparation:
Our meeting point is in the harbour of Eggum in Lofoten. Join us 15 minutes before the booked time to meet your guide and learn the safety rules for the tour. There's a parking lot right next to our office, so you can comfortably park there. From there, we will walk a few minutes to grab a kayak and begin our tour from a nearby beach.
- Tour:
The main goal of our tour is to watch the aurora, that's why we paddle along the coastline in complete darkness with only headlamps as your source of light. On the way, we pass by many majestic mountains and islets hidden in the shadows of the night. Once, the Northern Lights start to appear, we make a stop to enjoy the view and take some pictures of this unique phenomenon.
- Arrival:
We paddle back to our base in Eggum, where you can have a hot drink after the relaxing tour and a little chat with your guide.
