Spring Husky Sledding in Geilo

Experience a husky sledding tour with the professionals who compete on the national level and are happy to share their knowledge with you. This spring edition of dog sledding takes place in Halne in the middle of paradise snowy landscapes of Norway. No previous experience is required. We are happy to welcome children from 3 years old on.

After exciting 75 minutes of husky sledding, we have some hot chocolate and gather together to play with the dogs and get to know more about their lifestyle as well as the everyday life of our amazing mushers. We hope to see you soon!

Tour programme
- Meeting point:
We meet 10 minutes before the booked time in Halne Fjellstue if you travel by car. The parking in Geilo is located by the red house in Bakkestølvegen 56. If you choose to take a shuttle bus, meet us in Geilo Husky camp in Vestlia, our base is around 50 meters down in the forest from the main road. There are 8 spots in the bus which departs at 9 am and goes back to Geilo at 4 pm. If you wish to reserve a spot if the bus, please contact us in advance.
- Tour:
Our dog sledding tour begins with the introduction from the husky mushers who explain how to mush a sledge. On every sledge, there's space for 2 people and each of them has the chance to mush on its own and swap with the second person halfway through the ride. After approximately 75 minutes the sledding is over and there's time to play with the dogs, taste some local snacks, have hot drinks by the fire and learn more about the life of our huskies.
