Rainforest Stand up Paddle Boarding in Cairns

If you fancy a tropical adventure in a beautiful Australian rainforest then we would love to show you our Stand up Paddle Boarding in Cairns activity in the Kuranga Rainforest. The tour will firstly feature an introduction session where you will be briefed on proper technique and safety measures to not fall in whilst paddle boarding. We will then be on our way for a relaxing trip down Barron River.

On the trip you will see why Australia's natural environments are special with some unique wildlife on display alongside some peaceful surroundings featuring swimming holes and fast running waters. At some point during our trip we'll also stop for some refreshments including tropical fruits and some juices. Tour programme
Preparation:
We'll meet for the stand up paddle boarding in Cairns at your accommodation early in the afternoon in the town where we'll then bring you to the Atherton Tablelands on the city outskirts which is near the starting point of the activity. Be sure to arrive to the activity at least 15 minutes in advance.
Tour:
Once at the river we'll start with a short introduction session where you'll be shown proper technique, and how not to fall in. Thereafter we'll be on our way down Baron River for around 2 to 2.5 hrs. The river is very calm with some gentle rapids and small beaches. During this trip we'll take some breaks, observe wildlife, enjoy the hot sun and take breaks on river beds.
Arrival:
Once we finish the tour, we'll pack up the equipment and head back to Cairns, and we'll drop you back at your accommodation.
