Tour programme
- Preparation:
You will meet you tour guide at our trailer parked at 462-482 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters at the time specified on your booking confirmation. Here, you will be taken through a kayaking safety introduction and you will then receive your equipment and will depart directly from the beach. If you need help getting there, we offer a courtesy pick-up & drop-off service from different locations in Surfers Paradise (conditions apply)
- Tour:
When sea kayaking in Gold Coast, we paddle across clear blue waters and through beautiful sandbanks until we land in the so-called Dolphin Bay on Wave Break Island's northern side. We will leave the kayaks here and depart on a short bush walk to the eastern side of the island, an absolutely breathtaking place. Here, we will prepare you for snorkeling by handing out your gear and giving you a brief introduction. Then, you are free to explore the underwater world just off the island's shore which is characterised by a colourful reef. Here, you will encounter all sorts of species including sea cucumbers, sea perches, angelfish, trumpet fish, seargent fish and, if you're lucky, the famous clownfish. Once you're done snorkeling, we will have prepared a healthy snack for you that you'll be able to enjoy while taking in the spectacular views of the city.
- Return:
After our time on the island, we bring the adventure of sea kayaking in Gold Coast to a close by paddling back to our departure point on the beach in Biggera Waters.
