SUP Noosa Wildlife Day Trip

Enjoy an unforgettable day surrounded by pristine nature! Our SUP Noosa Wildlife day trip takes you on an adventure to the Sunshine Coast's hidden tropical paradise, Double Island Point. On this easy stand up paddle tour, you'll come across the famous Rainbow Beach coloured sand cliffs that protect many of the flat water lagoons. This makes for an ideal natural environment allowing you to explore and experience the local wildlife.

On your SUP Noosa wildlife tour, you can expect to see many turtles, as six of the world's seven marine turtle species can be found here. Often seen feeding and resting in the clear shallows of the lagoons and ocean are the Green Sea turtle, Loggerhead and Hawksbill turtle. Rays, Bottlenose dolphins, many different bird species, Humpback whales (over 35000 to pass this season) and soldier crabs in their thousands are also all quite common here.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet 15 minutes before departure at one of the 3 pick up points in Noosa. With specialised 4X4 vehicles, we will take you on a spectacular ride along Teewah Beach, up to the Double Island Point Surf. Before the SUP Noosa wildlife tour starts, you will receive expert instructions and learn everything you need to know before going in the water.
- Tour:
After a quick stand up paddle lesson with instructions by your fully qualified, friendly instructors, there's nothing that stands in the way of your SUP Noosa wildlife tour. We will paddle across the shallows spotting turtles, rays and other amazing marine wildlife. Experienced stand up paddle boarders can try SUP Surfing on the super long beginner waves.
- Arrival:
The return trip will take you back to Noosa along the Great Beach Drive on Teewah Beach.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your SUP tour. Departure times from Noosa vary daily and are set around the low tide to access Double Island Point along Teewah beach. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.
