Tandem Paragliding in Cape Town is a unique and exciting activity where you'll have the opportunity to get a fabulous bird's eye view of Cape Town and its immediate natural surroundings. While in the air with our paragliding experts, you'll be able to see Cape Town in all its glory as well as having gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding mountains as well as a far reaching view over the sea.
During this activity, you'll be flying from either the imposing Lion's head Mountain or from our Signal Road take off spot, all the way over Cape Town down to either Glenn's Country Club (from Lion's head) or Sea Point Promenade (signal road). Its a thrilling trip with lots to see. We are very passionate about tandem paragliding in Cape Town, and we can't wait to have you board !
Tour programmeMeeting & Preparation:
We'll be meeting at Signal Road Car Park for our Tandem Paragliding in Cape Town activity, after which we'll make our way to one of the take off stops. In some instances where the weather patterns are slightly stronger we'll be meeting at Lion's Head Mountain. We'll contact you if this is the case. We'll start off the activity with a short introduction session on the correct procedures after which we'll begin our take-off.
Start and Flight:
We'll take off either from our Lions Mountain or Signal Road take off spots depending on the weather. The flight will take us over Cape Town with great views of the city, its Atlantic coastline, and its immediate natural surroundings.
After Landing:
After we land at one our landing spots you'll have the choice to either be brought back to the car park that we began from, or to stay in Cape Town.

The minimum age for this activity is 5 years. The accepted weight range is between 25 kg and 115 kg. No special level of fitness is required to participate.
What should I wear, and can friends or family watch?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing, solid footwear and sunglasses for the flight. The provider has not specified if spectators are allowed to watch.
Can I bring my phone or camera, or take pictures/videos during the activity?
Pictures are offered as an optional extra during the activity.

The total duration of the activity is 1 hour, which includes a flight of 5 to 20 minutes.

Where is the meeting point?
The meeting point is at Signal Road Car Park. In case of stronger winds, the meeting point will be at Lion's Head Mountain, and you will be contacted by the provider.
