Dog Sledge Ride in Risøyhamn

During our dog sledge tour, we enter the uninhabited terrain and are accompanied by our loyal friends, the huskies. You can decide whether you want to sit on a sled with a guide to fully enjoy the experience or whether you want to drive the sled on your own.

However, the guide must make sure that you are able to do so to avoid possible risks. For about an hour, you will slide through the idyllic snowy landscape and learn about the strengths of our huskies. At the end of the tour, you will be served warm tea or coffee to warm up on our husky farm. We are looking forward to an unforgettable day with you!

Tour programme
- Meeting point:
We will meet punctually at your booked time at our base. Here, you will be welcomed and shown how to use the sledging equipment. You will then receive some instructions for the sledge tour, so you know what to expect. After we have prepared the dogs sufficiently for the adventure, you're ready to go!
- Activity:
During the tour, we ride on a sledge through the snowy terrain, pulled by a maximum of 2 huskies, thereby enjoying the refreshing Norwegian air. After about one hour, we feed the dogs together and you will get an interesting tour through our husky farm. Last but not least, we will have some delicious tea or coffee to warm up.

Important information
Our husky sledding tour is very weather dependent. If the sledding tour cannot take place, we can switch to the dog wagon tour for the same price, or offer you an alternative.
