I had never skied before, and I was able to take two hours of lessons with Jean, who tried to help me progress as much as possible in a short amount of time, giving me techniques to practice on my own. He also adapted to my learning style and gave me the necessary information to correct my mistakes as I went along. I would gladly take lessons with him again next year!
Jean was great and very patient
100% recommend. My teacher Jean was very skilled, patient and kind. He made the most out of a limited snow week, kept me in a good mood when I was scared, and ultimately taught me to ski :-) I did 3 days of lessons, 3 hours each. That was definitely the minimum I would recommend for an absolute beginner
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
Yes, you can take the lessons in a small group. It's important that all participants have a similar skill level to ensure everyone benefits from the session.

These private lessons are a great way to regain confidence on skis. The instructor will adapt to your needs with a personalized session.
Yes, the lessons are flexible. One guest mentioned that it is possible to book a one-hour lesson to brush up on your skills.
While the duration is flexible, one beginner who took the course recommended a minimum of 3 days with 3-hour lessons to learn the basics.
