Dive Area
We dive at Pinnacle Reef, which is part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park close to Green Island (approximately 26km off the coast of Cairns. The crystal clear and turquoise waters you'll encounter here make for perfect scuba diving conditions in which you can easily explore the colourful reef and its bustling wildlife which come up to just 1m below the surface.

Programme
Check-in at our Ocean Free + Ocean Freedom desk at the Reef Fleet Terminal from 7:15 am. Boarding starts at 7:30 am for an 08:00 am departure. We will then head out towards Green Island on a 2h boat trip with our 16.5m sailing schooner. Once we've moored at our exclusive location, you will gear up with your buddy, enter the water and start your adventure that is scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. In total, the boat will stay at pinnacle reef for 4.5h, meaning that there is enough time to either go on a second dive or to spend the rest of your time relaxing on deck, swimming, snorkeling, or even exploring the tropical rainforest and the sandy beaches of White Island before we head back to Cairns.
