Come and discover the breathtaking views of our lakes with a paddle board Rotaura adventure tour! We will take you to beautiful locations and provide you with a unique and genuine experience while gliding over the water. The lakes on which we carry out the tours are Lake Tarawera, Lake Tikitapu and Lake Okareka.

No paddle boarding experience is needed since paddleboarding is a fun activity suitable for everybody. Paddle boarding is a unique eco-friendly way to discover nature you should not miss it out on. Paddle Board Rotorua awaits you!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We pick you up in Rotorua, at the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre or we can arrange a pickup service from your accommodation in central Rotorua. We will then pass the magnificent Redwood-Whakarewarewa Forest before arriving at the tour destination. The best lake is chosen a few hours before the activity takes place based on the conditions of the day. Once on the shore, the Paddle Board Rotorua guide will get you ready for your paddle boarding experience. After introduction and safety instructions, you are ready to go. Within 15 minutes, even inexperienced participants will be able to stand up and paddle!
- Tour:
From the shore, you will start paddling and discovering the lake while experiencing the freedom of gliding over the water. You can also swim, snorkel or just relax on the board.
- Return:
Once your paddle board Rotorua adventure has ended, our team will take you back to Rotorua.

- Location: Lake Tarawera, Lake Tikitapu or Lake Okareka
- Description: Each lake has its own peculiarity. Lake Tarawera has a stunning view of Mount Tarawera. Lake Tikitapu offers incredibly blue waters and amazing fern tree scenery. Lake Okareka has hidden caves and rock formations ideal for exploration.
