Tour programme
- Preparation:
We pick you up in Rotorua, at the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre or we can arrange a pickup service from your accommodation in central Rotorua. We will then drive by the magnificent Redwood-Whakarewarewa Forest before arriving at Lake Okareka. Once on the shore, the guide will get you ready for your experience, and, after the introduction and safety instructions, you are ready to go. Even inexperienced participants will be able to paddle within 15 minutes.
- Tour:
Immerse yourself in the warm light of the sunset while gliding on the lake searching for the glow worm caves. Once in the cave, you will be amazed by the galaxy-like atmosphere created by their lights. Heading back to the shore, if the sky is clear, you will paddle under the starry sky.
- Return:
Once your paddle board Rotorua adventure has ended, our team will take you back to Rotorua.
