Tour programme - Preparation: We pick you up in Rotorua, at the i-SITE Visitor Information Centre or we can arrange a pickup service from your accommodation in central Rotorua. We will then drive by some breathtaking landscapes before arriving at Lake Okareka. Once on the shore, the guide will get you ready for your Kayak Rotorua experience, and, after the introduction and safety instructions, you are ready to go. Even inexperienced participants will be able to kayak within 15 minutes. - Tour: Kayaking into the orange sunset while gliding across the lake searching for the glow worm caves is just the start. Once you enter one of the caves, you will be amazed by the galaxy-like atmosphere created by their lights. Heading back to the shore, if the weather conditions permit it, you will be guided to a series of 3 other cave locations. Plus, if the sky is clear, you will have your breath taken away by the starry night sky. - Return: Once your kayak Rotorua adventure has ended, our team will take you back to Rotorua.
