Surfing Lessons in Maroubra for Teens & Adults

Do you want to shred some waves in Australia's National Surfing Reserve? Join our Maroubra surf lessons and learn how to surf with our friendly instructors! Surfing is easy, fun and for everybody. Get on board with your friend and go for the amazing Maroubra surf experience.

Meeting & Preparation
Come at least 20 min before the start of your Maroubra surf lessons to our base in 7 Marine Parade, Maroubra. Here, you will get to know your surf instructor and can change your clothes in a changing room. Once everybody is ready, we will head to the beach in a small group of a maximum of 6 people and learn first how to surf in theory before trying to catch the first waves. Please note that the start time of your Maroubra surf experience might change.

Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. We will inform you in time about the exact start time after you have completed the booking.

Course Content
- Theory session on the beach
- The right warm-up
- Practice on the beach (Keeping balance, Paddling, Standing Up)
- Practice in the sea (with breaks and returning to the beach for more instructions and feedback)
- Total duration: approx. 3h
